| Description | To give OoLite a more realistic Ambience, this OXP sets various universal settings to match the colours we can see in the night sky. The numbers of stars has also been set to match what the average eye can see in this part of the galaxy (which would vary if you were moving significant distances in a real galaxy, but not over 50 light years :-) ), with a more natural light ambient_level, and the Sun's been moved to give it a more realistic size when near the planet (you might notice this when skimming) | To give OoLite a more realistic Ambience, this OXP sets various universal settings to match the colours we can see in the night sky. Copy the OXP to your add ons Folder
Sets some universal settings to sets the star colour's to the real colours
http://www.vendian.org/mncharity/dir3/starcolor/
which i've translated as:
"0.6 0.7 1.0 1.0 0.8 0.4"
and number visible to what's visible in the night sky
(ignoring the fact in game you're out of the atmosphere, but in direct sunlight etc) from Earth (ignoring what would happen in different parts of the galaxy) would be roughly 5,000 (possibly up to 9,000 magnitude 6.5 if you've got good eye sight)
This version also sets the Sun distance and corna size to also be more Realistic
