Equipment Electronic Thumb
The Electronic Thumb is a short squat black rod, smooth and matte with a couple of flat switches and dials at one end. It allows a pilot who is stranded in interstellar space to flag down passing spacecraft to either buy fuel from them or hitch a ride in their wormhole. The Electronic Thumb can be activated by the pilot at any time during flight.
